Genomic Health, the world’s leading provider of genomic-based cancer diagnostic tests, is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Manager to join the Quality Assurance team.  This individual will collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, Regulatory, and other functional areas on the development and commercialization of Genomic Health products/services.  The successful candidate will have the expertise, creativity, and communication skills to provide leadership in the areas of product design control, risk management, change control and validation as they relate to Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) and in vitro diagnostics in the US, Europe, and elsewhere.  As the Quality Assurance Project Manager, you will be an active member of product development teams representing Quality and, ultimately, the customer.  This will include ensuring the Genomic Health product development processes are appropriately applied and followed throughout the product/service development process.

The Customer Service Team is a vital link between GHI customers, the external GHI sales force and the internal commercial operations group. The overall goal of the team is to provide world class customer service across the board. The Customer Service Team will often be the first point of contact for all external parties who communicate with GHI directly via the phone, email, regular mail or other means. They are also responsible for handling and recording all tissue specimens sent to GHI for testing. Another responsibility of the Customer Service team is to ensure that data entry of fax and online orders for Oncotype DX and for contacting physicians and various other personnel when information on the order form is incomplete or unacceptable. Lastly, they manage new specimen kit receipts, file preparations, report shipments, material return, document management and international kit shipments. 

 

The Order Intake Representative position is responsible for data entry of fax and online orders for Oncotype DX and for contacting physicians and various other personnel when information on the order form is incomplete or unacceptable. 

It is imperative that the Order Intake Representative has a demonstrated ability to work independently, but also function effectively as a member of the GHI team. Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to focus are imperative qualities. 

The Order Intake Representative must possess the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all individuals, including external customers and other internal GHI personnel. This person will have strong communication, organizational skills and project management process experience. You should be knowledgeable about kits, supplies, logistics, laboratory operations, specimen storage, data reporting and transfers, immunohistochemistry (IHC), digital pathology and anatomic & clinical pathology. He or she will have experienced knowledge of tissue handling, tumor tissue sectioning, and biosafety protocols. You'll have the ability to work productively in cross-functional groups.

 

You should have a degree in biological sciences and/or a related clinical license.

To support these programs, the Director/Sr. Director will be responsible for clinical vision and oversight during the investigation, development, and commercial stages of new and existing products including the design and execution of clinical validation and utility studies.  Clinical study leadership includes initiating and managing external collaborations with leaders in urologic oncology, cooperative groups, and research organizations, identifying investigators to participate in key clinical trials, and reviewing, interpreting, and presenting key results. The Laboratory Technician in Histology is responsible for assisting the Histotechnologists and Pathologists and supporting the daily operations of the Histology Laboratory.

He or she has demonstrated the skills and competency to work in high throughput production environment, the ability to assist the Histotechnologists, Pathologists or other laboratory personnel in manual and  automated processing steps and all other support functions, a good understanding of laboratory workflow to address laboratory needs and issues, and the initiatives to contribute to laboratory projects.  The Laboratory technician may serve as a lead to the Laboratory Assistant team to coordinate tasks and divide workload as assigned.  He or she may review and organize documents, and participate in studies, process and quality improvement activities as assigned.
