The Senior Clinical Database Analyst at Genomic Health, Inc. (GHI) is responsible for ensuring the development and configuration of robust clinical data tools that lead to the accurate, complete and timely collection and delivery of genomic and clinical data for analysis, reporting and presentation. The Sr. Clinical Database Analyst is expected to provide functional representation and expertise to study teams. The Senior Clinical Database Analyst may have functional supervisory responsibilities for new and/or lower level staff.
As the Laboratory Associate I, you will be responsible for providing technical support within a cross-functional team to research and develop novel NGS or PCR-based products and services in the area of cancer biology.
Reporting into a manager within the Genomic Sciences department within Research & Development, you will participate in, interact with and support various cross functional teams and may act as a liaison between these teams and the Products & Services R&D group.
Genomic Health currently has an exciting opportunity in the Biomaterials Repository facility (BMR). The BMR is dedicated to collecting, banking and processing human tissue for Research and Development activities ranging from proof-of-concept experiments to clinical validation studies. The Biomaterials Repository Assistant Supervisor/Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the daily functions of the BMR and will partner with his/her manager and internal partner groups for continuous process improvement to meet future needs. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, and expert knowledge of tissue handling, tumor tissue sectioning, and biosafety protocols. Candidates should be knowledgeable about pathology, including morphology, digital pathology, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and histology protocols. They must have the proven ability to work productively in cross-functional groups.
Candidates should have a degree in biological sciences and/or a related clinical license and background in tissue handling and biological research.
Genomic Health, Inc. (GHI) is seeking an exceptional investigator in Oncology with a strong interest in precision medicine to be a member of Oncology Development in Translational Sciences. The Oncology Development Senior Director/Director will be responsible for providing clinical leadership during the development of new products and new applications of existing products that improve cancer care through molecular insight. Genomic Health is building upon the success of the Oncotype DX breast, colon, and prostate cancer assays with a growing number of programs focused on developing comprehensive solutions for cancer patients and providers including next-generation sequencing-based assays on tissue and liquid patient samples. To support these programs, the Senior Director will be expected to: 1) provide oncology expertise during the due diligence, development, validation, and implementation of practice-changing molecular assays, 2) initiate and manage external collaborations involving leaders in academic oncology, cooperative groups, and research organizations, 3) identify, qualify, and choose sites and investigators to participate in key clinical trials, 4) review, interpret, present, and oversee the reporting of key results, and 5) act as medical monitor for clinical trials. The successful candidate will lead internal collaborative, cross-functional program teams including members from genomic sciences, bioinformatics, pathology, biostatistics, clinical operations, medical affairs, and commercial and be a leader across Genomic Health as a member of Research and Development.. The Senior Director for Oncology Development will report to the Chief Medical Officer.
