Genomic Health, Inc. (GHI) is seeking an exceptional individual with strong leadership, managerial, organizational and technical skills to head its scientific data management function.
The Associate Director, Scientific Data Management, leads reporting Data Analysts, establishes standards and standard methodologies within a developing industry.
You will consult with laboratory system developers and customers on development of systems and processes for laboratory sample analysis, data collection, and data visualization.
You will report to the Director, Data Management Operations, and are a member of the Biostatistics and Data Management senior management team.
The Scientific Data Analyst will collaborate on cross-functional teams to execute projects in areas such as process development, commercial laboratory troubleshooting and monitoring, and product commercialization. You'll prepare laboratory datasets, reports, analysis tools, and visualizations for customers such as biostatisticians, scientists, and process engineers. You’ll reports to the Associate Director of Biomedical Data Computing.
You’ll have experience in Biotechnology or Pharma with strong technical skills and experience that includes working with relational databases and other programming in addition to construction and manipulation of complex data structures to meet the needs of consumers of the data. Additionally, past study or work in life sciences, especially working in a molecular biology laboratory and with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) would be extremely valuable.
Genomic Health is seeking an extraordinary individual with strong statistical, data analysis, interpersonal, and organizational skills, to participate in the development and validation of genomic biomarker assays that help cancer patients and their physicians make better treatment decisions. You will collaborate directly with internal and external leaders with vision in the design, analysis, reporting, and publication of studies associating genomic data with clinical outcomes in patients from controlled clinical trials and observational studies in oncology. You'll have experience analyzing high dimensional data, preferably genomic data, relevant work experience, and an in-depth understanding of survival analysis methods.

The Associate Director/Director of Non-Clinical Biostatistics (NCB) leads a team that collaborates with Biomedical Data Computing, Bioinformatics, Platform Technologies, Process Engineering, Pathology, and Commercial Operations in order to develop and support a wide-ranging spectrum of products that advance Genomic Health as a leader in the world of oncogenomics and tumor molecular diagnostics. This position leads a small team of highly technical professionals.
You will be the leader of a team of biostatisticians responsible for contributing to development of new products and technologies in R&D, as well as supporting day-to-day operations in our Clinical Laboratory and other operational laboratory functions, including developing and enhancing Statistical Process Control technologies (SPC) for ongoing process monitoring and troubleshooting.
