Genomic Health’s Legal & Regulatory Department is looking for Regulatory Affairs intern who can work full-time for a minimum of nine weeks in Summer 2018.  The Regulatory Affairs Intern will work closely with Genomic Health’s Regulatory Affairs department and be provided the opportunity to gain experience in drafting and preparing regulatory submissions and documents.   The Regulatory Affairs intern will receive a range of exposure to regulatory matters impacting a global healthcare organization. 


The Intern will report to the Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs within the Legal & Regulatory organization


  • Research various regulatory issues and apply them to operations of the Company.  Areas of focus include US and International regulatory evaluation and compliance activities, including regulations specific to health care and diagnostics. Participate in project related milestone deliverables required of the regulatory department.
  • Participate in daily operations of a global in-house legal & regulatory department, including attendance at regulatory and business team meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Currently a college student or recent college graduate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize time-sensitive tasks, with a strong emphasis on quality and client service.
  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner.
  • Experience in health care preferred, strong interest in health care required.
  • Positive attitude and able to work well as part of a team.

Travel, Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment

- Standing or sitting for long periods of time may be necessary
